Have you seen any aliens lately?

During story time today we were discussing transportation and ways to travel. I took our spaceship puppet with the alien driver. We talked about aliens and how men can go to the moon in a spaceship, but I told the children aliens are not real; they live in our imagination. One little boy, seriously taking all the information in, looked at me and said, "Aliens are real, I saw one phone home!" WOW, a blast from the past! I remember taking my daughter to see that movie 20+ years ago. I remember ET did find his way home, but evidently there is a new generation of children fascinated by ET's plight. You certainly won't convince them ET is not real!!
